CEO of the largest Russian missile corporation got suspicion from SSU

Security Service of Ukraine (SSU)
Obnosov

The general director of the Russian corporation "Tactical Missile Armament" Boris Obnosov has been charged with suspicion. He is part of Putin's close circle.

What is known about the suspicion of Obnosov

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) notes that Obnosov is part of the close circle of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and heads the largest holding under sanctions of the Russian Federation, which produces cruise missiles and guided aerial bombs used in the war against Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has struck more than 140 strikes on the civilian infrastructure and energy facilities of our country with only Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles.

The enemy also uses other "products" of the corporation for mass shelling of populated areas of Ukraine, including:

  • cruise and anti-ship missiles P-800 "Oniks", Kh-22, Kh-32 and Kh-59;

  • guided aerial bombs of the KAB-500 and KAB-1500 series.

A few months before the start of the full-scale war, Obnosov was awarded the title of "Hero of Russia" for his direct participation in the preparations for the invasion.

What threatens Obnosov

Obnosov was informed of the suspicion under Chapter 5 of Article 27 and Chapter 2 of Article 437 of Ukraine's Criminal Code — assistance in waging an aggressive war.

Comprehensive measures are underway to bring the perpetrator to justice for crimes against our state, to declare him an international wanted man. In addition, law enforcement officers are carrying out investigative actions aimed at identifying, blocking and further charging all the foreign assets of the person involved in the income of Ukraine, — writes the SSU.
