What is known about the attack on the plant in St. Petersburg

Russian Telegram channels reported the fall of a drone on the territory of the "Nevsky Mazut" oil refinery in St. Petersburg.

As it became known, the Russians tried to shoot down a Ukrainian drone from the S-400 complex, but the drone still fell on the territory of the Nevsky Oil Refinery.

It is telling that they used the S-400 to impress our drones. It is very interesting how this Russian anti-aircraft warfare system works, because after allegedly shooting down the drone, it still fell on the territory of our target, the source explained.

According to preliminary information, the DIU is behind the operation.

What is known about other drone attacks in Russia

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a mass drone attack on January 30.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 21 drones were allegedly shot down, including 11 over Crimea, five over Belgorod Oblast, three over Bryansk, and one each over Kaluga and Tula Oblasts.

The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladyslav Shapsha, reported that the drone's wreckage fell on the roof of a non-residential building on the outskirts of Kaluga.

Earlier on January 21, an explosion occurred near the oil terminal of the Sea Trade Port in the village of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region. Residents of the nearest cities near the port reported the sounds of drones flying by, and a fire started.

About 150 people had to be evacuated from the enterprise. Later, it turned out that the SSU carried out this special operation.

Also late in the evening on January 20, explosions rang out in Tula, Russia. The Russians said that a drone was allegedly shot down there. However, a video showing the "arrival" was published online.

Later, it became known that this was the DIU's planned work.
