Poland has issued a navigational warning to civilian airspace users about the possible military aviation activity along the border with Russia and Belarus.
Warning for civil aviation in Poland
The Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland announced that the Air Navigation Services Agency has issued a navigation warning (NOTAM) that will be in effect from February 5 to May 5, 2024.
The NOTAM was issued to warn civilian airspace users of possible increased activity of military aircraft in the eastern part of Polish airspace in response to the "threatening situation on the eastern border."
Russia's threat to NATO
In January, the head of the NATO military committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, called on the population to prepare for a possible war with Russia.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Romania, General Georgyce Vlad, believes that the Romanian population should take measures to be ready for a possible expansion of Russian aggression beyond the borders of Ukraine.
Also, the commander-in-chief of the Dutch army, Martin Wijnen, said that the country's society should prepare for war with Russia.
