Farmer protest participants in Poland and Polish law enforcement officers block the movement of passenger buses with Ukrainians at the border and detain people without explanation.
What is happening on the Polish-Ukrainian border
According to the information of the Deputy PM for the Restoration of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Polish representatives' actions are unacceptable to Ukrainian citizens.
He emphasised that the attempt to hold them hostage to the protests of Polish farmers seems inappropriate for the civilised world.
What is known about Ukraine's proposals to Poland regarding the unblocking of the border
According to the Ukrainian government press service, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi met with his Polish colleague Czeslaw Siekierski.
In particular, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector.
Solsky suggested to Siekiersky at the end of March that joint inter-ministerial talks be held in which representatives of Ukraine's specialised agricultural associations should be involved.
The agency clarifies that Solskyi and Siekierski's meeting took place within the framework of the ninth meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, which is taking place in Lviv.
