What is known about the beginning of the cyber war of the Russian occupiers against the DIU
The peculiarity of the current elections lies in a very difficult situation. I will call a spade a spade - we are in a state of war with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, which has been trying to destroy the entire infrastructure created for the elections for a long time, - says Oseevsky.
At the same time, the Russian official defiantly declared that the Russian operator was allegedly ready for this.
How did DIU respond to this statement?
According to the information of DIU deputy chief Vadym Skibitskyi, in an interview with "RBK-Ukraine", the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin ordered the fabrication of 75% of the support from Russians in the planned pseudo-elections.
However, as Skibitsky warns, the Kremlin's henchmen can give more support for Putin's sake.
These figures are important only for Putin and Russian propaganda to try to show his support both in Russia and in the occupied territories, - explains the DIU representative.
According to him, local collaborators also participate in the so-called elections in the occupied Ukrainian territories, where "early voting" has already begun.
The Russian occupiers hold so-called "early presidential elections" in the occupied Ukrainian territories, which precede the Russian presidential elections scheduled for March 15-17.
The invaders need to show the "loyalty" of the Ukrainian population, and to achieve this goal, they use internal and external tracks.
In an attempt to create the appearance of the legitimacy of their stay on Ukrainian territory, the occupying power creates "election commissions", threatens employees of budget spheres and forces people to vote under the muzzle of machine guns.
What is known about DIU cyberattacks on Russian state websites?
DIU hackers conducted a large-scale cyber attack on several key state websites of the aggressor country, Russia.
It is noted that DIU hackers managed to delete dozens of terabytes of strategically important information for the Russian occupiers.
In addition, hundreds of users' domain computers containing important information were encrypted.
DIU emphasised that over 60 terabytes of data were deleted from file storage.
It is noted that among the targets of the attack were the websites "Standardinform", "Stankoprom" and "GU "VO Ministry of Finance of Russia"".
