Russia spreads fake narratives of AFU seizure of Ukraine's government as part of Maidan-3 PsyOp

Russia's propaganda continues to spread the narrative about the preparation of a forceful seizure of power by the military in Ukraine as part of the "Maidan-3" PsyOp.

The Kremlin continues to spread propaganda as part of the Maidan-3 special operation

The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) reported that Russian propaganda TG channels regarding the state Russian news agency "RIA-Novosti" reproduce information about the intention to take over the Verkhovna Rada by elite Armed Forces units.

The enemy cites as a proof an alleged correspondence from a secret Telegram chat, in which the Ukrainian military is allegedly discussing a plan to seize the parliament. The given screenshots of correspondence contain signs of forgery.

By spreading such fakes, the enemy is trying to destabilise the situation inside Ukraine and to sow mistrust, fear of chaos and panic among Ukrainians, to oppose civilians and military, the CCD reported.

The Russian PsyOp "Maidan-3" against Ukraine is approaching its peak

The Intelligence Committee under the President of Ukraine officially warns that the PsyOp "Maidan-3", which the Russian Federation is conducting against our country, will reach its climax in March-May 2024.

Dictator Vladimir Putin's team intends to:

  • to question the legitimacy of government decisions made in Ukraine after May 20,

  • spread panic moods and despair,

  • to artificially oppose civilians and military,

  • put us at odds with our allies,

  • spread all kinds of "conspiracy theories" in society.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) reported that it has lists of people Russia can involve in spreading its narratives and influencing Ukraine's socio-political situation.
