Siberian Battalion announces a massive attack on Russian military facilities in Belgorod

Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine issued an urgent warning to the residents of the Russian city of Belgorod. In the next hour, the fighters will attack military facilities in the city.

Warning to residents of Belgorod about shelling

The Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LFR), the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), and the Siberian Battalion (SibBat) statement states that within the next hour, a massive attack will be made on military facilities in the city of Belgorod.

We urge local residents to immediately go to safe shelters and not go outside until the attack is over. Spread this message among the people of Belgorod — help save the lives of your compatriots.

On the morning of March 15, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation already announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly attacked the city of Belgorod and the region with RM-70 "Vampir" rocket systems. Russian air defence allegedly shot down seven shells.

In Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine, the so-called "elections" of the President of the Russian Federation have begun. They will last three days, from March 15 to 17 inclusive.

What is happening in the Russian border regions?

On the morning of March 12, Russian volunteers from the LFR, RVC and the Siberian Battalion fighting on the side of Ukraine announced that they were "going to the elections" for the PPresident of the Russian Federation.

They crossed the border with the Russian Federation and began an operation in Russia's border regions. On the same day, fighters of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" announced that they had taken control of the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region.

On the evening of March 14, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) confirmed that the Russian authorities are blocking the evacuation of civilians from the Belgorod and Kursk regions, where hostilities are taking place.

According to Russian volunteers from the Legion "Freedom of Russia," as of the morning of March 15, 7,000 vehicles with people in Belgorod and the Belgorod region and 600 civilian cars from Kursk used the humanitarian corridor for evacuation.

Volunteers also announced a new evacuation corridor for the night of March 15-16.
