Thousands of Kyivstar employees continue to deal with the consequences of a large-scale hacker attack on 12 December. It is hoped that subscribers will be able to access their usual package of services as early as 13 December.
Kyivstar should start working on December 13
On December 12, Kyivstar partially restored the operation of advanced communication services after a massive hacker attack.
What is the situation today, 12 December, as of 23:00, Mykhailo Nestor, Kyivstar's Chief Operating Officer, wrote on his Facebook page.
Evening update. We have restored part of the fixed line network (= home internet). We are working to restore the main mobile network and plan to finish tomorrow (= Kyivstar will be back online tomorrow).
Nestor stressed that there are already numerous fraudulent schemes with alleged refunds and warned that all promised compensation from the company will be provided automatically.
From an amusing point of view, in addition to the apt memes, someone posted a photo of the Territorial Recruitment Centre employees in front of the office with comments that our funny show went a little too far. I'll report: today I worked in the office, and there were no fun to be seen (although you still have the feeling that you are in some show with a bad script)).
Nestor promised to provide an update on the company's performance on the morning of 13 December and thanked all Ukrainians who care about Kyivstar's problems.

Kyivstar is partially operational
As of 20:00 on 12 December, Kyivstar specialists managed to partially restore fixed-line services.
This was reported on the mobile operator's Facebook page.
Currently, the company's specialists are working to restore other services and will do everything possible to complete these works by 13 December 2023.
The resumption of services may take place gradually, which we will announce later, Kyivstar explained.
Kyivstar expressed its gratitude to the law enforcement agencies, the Security Service of Ukraine and government services for their immediate response and professional assistance in resolving this unprecedented situation.
