No one, not even military leaders, knows the answer to the question of whether the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine will end in 2024. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference.

Zelenskyy answered whether the war will end in 2024

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says no one knows when the war in Ukraine will end, but Ukrainians can bring it closer if they do everything possible to win.

I don't think anyone knows the answer, the statement said.

According to Zelenskyy, even those respectable people, commanders, ours or Western ones, do not know the answer.

When people say that the war will last for many years, they don't know. These are opinions. Opinions often differ from reality, the president added.

Zelenskyy also mentioned the predictions that Russians would capture Kyiv in three days.

These were also thoughts. I want to be right. War, victory, defeat, stagnation - it depends on many decisions, many risks, many directions, but most of all on ourselves. If we do not lose our resilience, we will end the war earlier. We can live with scepticism, but we can also harm our country by being too sceptical. And I am not ready for that. And I know there are millions of people like me. We are not ready to give away our country, the president added.

What are the forecasts for the Russia's war in Ukraine

According to the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, it is currently unknown when the war in Ukraine against the Russian occupiers will end. At the same time, compared to the 100-metre race, the Armed Forces have already passed 70 metres.

Recently, the head of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, said that Russia currently has no plans to wage war in 2025.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also previously said that Ukraine is now in the last stage of the war, but it may be the most difficult.
