Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, repulsed Russian attacks near Bakhmut and hit the occupiers' electronic warfare station.
Russian shellings
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 56 combat clashes took place.
The enemy launched three rockets and 39 air strikes and fired 27 MLRS rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas. The Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using 14 UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type, and 12 enemy drones were destroyed.
As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The situation at the fronts
In the Volyn and Polisia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Specific units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
About 25 settlements, including Klyusy, Mykhalchyna-Sloboda of Chernihiv region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks; Fotovyzh, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Yastrubyne, Basivka, Mogrytsia of the Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Lyptsi, Starytsa, Okhrimivka of the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks in the Synkivka area of the Kharkiv region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Petropavlivka area of the Kharkiv region.
About ten settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under the artillery and mortar fire of the Russian invaders.
In Lyman's direction, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks which tried to dislodge our units from the occupied lines in the Terna settlement of the Donetsk region. In addition, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Serebryansk forestry area of the Luhansk region.
About 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar attacks, among them Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Ivanivkse, Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region.
About ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Markove, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and New York of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repulsed 15 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops.
More than ten settlements, including Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Karlivka, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out five attacks on the positions of our defenders.
The occupiers came under artillery and mortar fire: Gostre, Georgiivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Kostyantynivka of the Donetsk region.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Shakhtarsk's direction. About ten settlements, including Vodiane, Vugledar, Staromayorske, Urozhaine, and Zelene Pole of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 20 settlements, including Levadne, Malynyvka, Verkhnya Tersa, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire.
In the Kherson direction, such settlements as Shlyakhove, Vesele, Mykolaivka, Tyaginka, the city of Kherson and Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region were hit by enemy artillery fire.
The offensive of the Armed Forces
Ukraine's defence forces will continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region. They continue to inflict fire damage on the positions of the Russian occupiers.
Losses of the enemy
During the day, the aviation of the Defence forces made five strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces inflicted damage on the electronic warfare station of the Russian invaders.
