The authorities of Armenia officially refused to participate in the CSTO meeting in Moscow despite threats from Moscow and Minsk.
Armenia continues to ignore Russia on the international stage
The National Assembly of Armenia Speaker, Alen Simonyan, said that he will not participate in the external meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the CSTO.
According to preliminary data, it will occur in Moscow on December 19.
The spokeswoman of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Tsovinar Khachatryan, confirmed this information.
Against this background, one cannot fail to mention that earlier, the leader of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, refused the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, who invited him to the CSTO summit in Minsk on November 23.
Moreover, Armenia also did not participate in the meetings preceding the session of the CSTO Council.
Lukashenko called Pashinyan's actions a "demarche".
Armenia may leave the CSTO
Recently, Armenian leader Nikol Pashinyan hinted to official Moscow that he is already considering the withdrawal of his country from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) after a conflict with the team of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
It is essential to understand that the main reason for the conflict between Armenia and the Russian Federation was Azerbaijan's blitzkrieg to return Nagorno-Karabakh under its control.
As you know, Moscow did not help Yerevan in any way.
