Ukrainian servicemen engaged in combat with units of the criminal army of the Russian Federation 77 times over the course of the day and struck three areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated.
What is known about the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the consequences of Russian army attacks in Ukraine
It is noted that the Ukrainian military continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region and are conducting artillery strikes on enemy positions.
During the day, missile units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 1 electronic warfare station of the Russian occupiers.
At the same time, the war criminals of the Russian army carried out 27 missile and 27 air strikes, fired 49 MLRS attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian infrastructure.
Since the beginning of the day, Russian occupants have attacked Ukraine using 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles (called as-23a KODIAK / AS-15 Kent cruise missiles in NATO countries list), an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 6 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. The Ukrainian Air Defence Forces destroyed 14 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles.
As a result of the invaders' terrorist attacks, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
What is known about the situation in certain parts of the frontline
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. About 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Loknya, Iskryskivka, Grabovske, Seredyna Buda in Sumy region; Guryev Kozachok, Vetarine, Hraniv in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Petropavlivka and Podilove in the Kharkiv region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkivka, Ivanivka, Petropavlivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled an enemy attack that attempted to force our units out of their positions near Spirne, Donetsk region. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and Serebryanka in Donetsk region. About 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar attacks, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Yampolivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnyokamyanske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Chasovyi Yar, the Donetsk region. About 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 32 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by air power, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy also conducted an air strike near Lastochkine in the Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Berdychi, Avdiivka, Stepove, Tonenke and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinsky sector, Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy launched 20 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our defenders. The following settlements of the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers: Hostre, Maryinka, Georgiivka, Pobyeda, Novomykhailivka.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions. About 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled an enemy attack in the area west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Charivne, Gulyaipole, Gulyaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Pyatykhatky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, the city of Kherson and Ivanivka in the Kherson region, came under enemy artillery fire.
