Germany provides €7 billion military aid to Ukraine

German leader Olaf Scholz announced that Berlin will provide Ukraine with more than €7 billion of military goods.

Ukraine receives more than €7 billion in military aid from Germany

According to the chancellor of Germany, he had a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden, during which they discussed the urgency of further support for Ukraine.

Germany is providing more than seven billion euros in military goods in 2024, Olaf Scholz announced on his social networks.

The German leader drew attention to the fact that he and Joe Biden are united and steadfast in their desire to continue providing Ukraine with financial, humanitarian and military support.

It is worth noting that the White House also released a similar statement. It says that the countries' leaders coordinated the continued unwavering support of Ukraine in the war against Russia.

The conversation between the US and German leaders occurred when the US Congress and the EU were stalling decisions on further multibillion-dollar aid to Ukraine.

Macron promised Ukraine long-range missiles and bombs

Almost simultaneously with Berlin, French leader Emmanuel Macron announced military aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, Paris intends to transfer 40 long-range Scalp missiles and "several hundred bombs" to Ukraine.

Moreover, Macron officially confirmed that he plans to come to Kyiv.

As you know, France is now focused on concluding a bilateral agreement on security guarantees with Ukraine.

After these deliveries, I myself will go to Ukraine in February and finish the work on these texts, said Emmanuel Macron.
