IDF says it killed one of the "Islamic Jihad" commanders in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces eliminated the high-ranking military leader of the Palestinian "Islamic Jihad" Mamdouh Lulu, as a result of an airstrike in Gaza on January 4. This militant led attacks on Israel from the territory of the enclave.

The IDF killed another militant leader

The IDF says that as a result of an airstrike in the Gaza Strip, one of the high-ranking commanders of the Palestinian "Islamic Jihad" was killed.

Mamdouh Lulu served as an assistant to the commanders of the northern division of "Islamic Jihad" in Gaza.

The IDF said in a statement that Lulu was also in contact with Islamic Jihad officials abroad.

Lulu was a central figure in the Palestinian "Islamic Jihad", initiated and led numerous terrorist attacks and attacks from Gaza on Israel, both during the war and in everyday life, the IDF said.

The deputy head of Hamas was eliminated in Beirut

On January 2, a drone killed Hamas official Saleh al-Aruri in a Hezbollah stronghold in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

A senior Hamas leader and at least five others were killed in an explosion in Beirut on Tuesday, the message said.

The person killed in the explosion has been identified as Saleh al-Aruri, who was the second in command of Hamas and the head of the militants in the West Bank.

Lebanon's security service said six people were killed in the strike, which Hamas blamed on Israel.
