Polish farmers continue to strike

It is noted that the protesters allow only single vehicles to pass through the checkpoint at the border.

The Polish Radio reports on Mar.4.

The city police commandant's office of Helm told about the long lorry queues in Dorohusk.

The length of the queue is approximately 17 km to the settlement of Serebryshche. Approximately 650 vehicles are expected. The waiting time for customs inspection is approximately 371 hours, said police representative Angelica Glomb-Kunysz.

According to her, protesters do not allow trucks to cross the border. Still, cars with humanitarian and military aid, medicines, and animals pass through the checkpoint in Dorohusk "without interruption."

Protests by Polish farmers continue in front of other border crossings in the Lublin Voivodeship. Yes, in Hrebenny, the waiting time for trucks in the queue is 80 hours. At the same time, as of Monday morning, 450 trucks were standing in a 15-kilometre queue to the village of Belzhets.

What is the situation on the border with Poland?

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine spokesman, Andrii Demchenko, reported on Mar. 3 that Polish protesters continue to block the movement of trucks at six checkpoints on the Ukraine border.

Polish farmers continue to block traffic for trucks. These are six directions. As of this morning, collectively, more than 2,400 freight vehicles are waiting for the possibility of passage in all these directions on the territory of Poland towards Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko noted.

According to him, the enormous queue is observed in the direction of checkpoints "Krakivets" and "Yagodyn", where at the last checkpoint, trucks are allowed only in the direction of Ukraine, and over the past day, 70 vehicles have passed through.

Let me remind you that "Yagodyn" is the largest infrastructure route where 1,200-1,400 trucks can cross the border in both directions. On the other hand, now only trucks that follow to Ukraine are allowed through... No lorries cross the border towards Poland, because they are not allowed through, Demchenko added.
