The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, predicts that almost a million Russians will start fleeing the occupied Crimea, as soon as Ukraine's attacks on the enemy's military facilities on the peninsula become more frequent.
Chubarov has no doubts about Ukraine's liberation of Crimea
The head of the Mejlis draws attention to the fact that the invasion of the Russian army and the occupation of Crimea, and a few months later the instigation of military operations in Donbas were only a prelude to a full-scale war against Ukraine.
Refat Chubarov is convinced that any scenario of deoccupation of the peninsula, which our Armed Forces will use, will undoubtedly end with the complete restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty.
According to him, since August 2022, when the Armed Forces launched the first strikes against Russian military facilities in the occupied Crimea, the peninsula has become a front-line territory.
Refat Chubarov wants to believe that the most careful option for the liberation of Crimea will take place, which would preserve its infrastructure, as well as the lives of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population.
Mustafa Dzhemilev announced the liberation of Crimea already in 2024
It is also worth noting that recently, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, called on Russians who have illegally moved to Crimea to leave the peninsula while the Kerch Bridge is functioning immediately.
Mustafa Dzhemilev also notes that Ukraine has always done everything possible for the peaceful liberation of Crimea and tried to agree with Putin on the mild withdrawal of Russians from the occupied territories, but Kyiv did not listen.
That is why, as the leader of the Crimean Tatar people notes, "there is no alternative to the military liberation of Crimea."
