Ukraine's resistance centre says Russia planned to exchange imprisoned collaborators for its captives

Prisoners

The occupiers planned to exchange collaborators for their prisoners. Documents have appeared that confirm these intentions of the Russians.

Russia wanted to exchange collaborators for its prisoners

It noted that the activists of "Cyber Resistance" gained access to the array of the Russian penitentiary service data at the TOT of Luhansk region, from which it is known about the plans of the Russians to exchange imprisoned collaborators for their prisoners.

It follows from these data that the prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation appealed to the head of the service in the temporarily occupied territories regarding the provision of lists for the possible exchange of imprisoned collaborators to Ukraine.

It is interesting that the list of those who have been in the corners of Russian prisons for a long time due to the internal strife of the occupiers includes those whose arrest was not officially reported and they were officially at liberty recently, the National Resistance Center (NRC) states.

What is known about the exchange of prisoners

On January 31, Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners. 207 Ukrainians returned home.

As the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, said, among the Ukrainians who have returned home are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Police. Among the soldiers are the defenders of Mariupol who were on "Azovstal", the Snake Island, as well as those who fought on a number of fronts. The oldest of the released soldiers is 61 years old, and the youngest will soon turn 21. In particular, the following returned home:
