The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, once again stated that the official Moscow, they say, is ready for a peaceful resolution of the war it unleashed in Ukraine, but only on its terms.
Putin again spoke about "peace talks" with Ukraine
The Russian dictator continues to insist that he can start negotiations only taking into account the Ukrainian territories captured by the Russian Federation and with guarantees for Moscow.
In addition, the Kremlin's chief cynically noted that "possible negotiations are not a pause for the rearmament of Kyiv, but a serious conversation with security guarantees for Moscow."
After that, the President of the Russian Federation added that he knew the "carrots that were going to be shown to him" to convince him that the moment for negotiations had come.
The dictator ended his speech with an absurd statement about "his nose in cocaine" without explaining what he was talking about.
Why is the world discussing possible talks between Ukraine and Russia again?
It all started after Pope Francis advised Ukraine to "have the courage of a white flag" and negotiate with the Russian Federation.
Moreover, he cynically called Ukraine "defeated", even though the war continues, and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully holding the defence. They are moving forward in some areas of the front.
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the words of the pontiff, said that "murderers do not go through Europe, because Ukrainians restrain them under the blue and yellow flag."
