"The EU is impressed". Kuleba described the discussions in the bloc regarding the future of Ukraine

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
Dmytro Kuleba

According to the chief of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, discussions in the European Union are still ongoing regarding the final decision to open negotiations on Ukraine's accession. However, Brussels is also impressed by what Kyiv has achieved over the past month.

The final decision of the EU regarding Ukraine has not yet been adopted

The head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced unprecedented support for opening negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU.

Despite this, it is essential to understand that the final decision has not yet been made.

According to the diplomat, the struggle for this decision will continue not only in the coming days but also during the meeting of the European Council.

This is already obvious to everyone, Dmytro Kuleba said.

Ukraine managed to impress the EU with the results of its work

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy also drew attention to the fact that the members of the European Union were impressed by the fact that official Kyiv managed to implement all the recommendations within one month.

Now the European Union must demonstrate its ability to keep its word and ensure unity, the diplomat emphasized.

According to Dmytro Kuleba, during the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries, they also discussed the algorithm of action if Brussels does not support the decision to start negotiations with Ukraine.

The diplomat is convinced that this decision will be taken anyway, despite the discussion in the bloc.

If someone wants it to happen not this week, but in a few weeks or months, that's bad, but the decision will still be there, because you can't stop the flow of history. And history moves very simply: Ukraine will be a member of the EU, it is only a matter of time and price. And our task is to make the price as low as possible, and the time as short as possible, Dmytro Kuleba explained.
