Russian troops did not capture the village of Tabaiivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Ukraine's defence forces are trying to push the enemy back to their previous positions.
The occupiers will present the Tabaiivka capture as a Berlin taking in 1945
The Ukrainian Ground Forces spokesman, Volodymyr Fityo, said on the telethon air that on the eve of the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, the occupiers are trying to give Vladimir Putin at least some victories to show on TV later.
He emphasised that the statements of the Russian occupiers about the occupation of Tabaiivka are false. According to him, the Defense Forces are trying to push the enemy back to their previous positions today. In particular, the Russians suffered significant losses in personnel and special equipment yesterday.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
Fityo noted that the Defense Forces are controlling the occupiers in any direction in the area of responsibility of the Khortyts Security Guard.
During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 11 attacks by the occupiers in this direction: in Synkivka, TabaIivka, Terny, and Serebryansky Forestry.
On January 28, the Russian army announced the capture of the village of Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. However, ISW analysts did not observe visual confirmation of this statement. Ukraine's Ground Forces speaker, Lt. Col. Volodymyr Fityo, reported on January 29 that the battle continued in the area. Still, Russian forces did not capture the settlement.
