In an interview with Online.UA, the commander of the 23rd SSPB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Elshad "Khohol" Nurusov, spoke about the attitude of the military to the negotiations with Putin and what will happen to the territories currently occupied by the Russian Federation.

Points of attention

  • The commander expresses doubts about the meaning of negotiations with Putin if they do not lead to political stability and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
  • The soldier recalls his own experience of victory over the Russian Federation in the war and wishes Ukrainians to feel a similar sense of victory.
  • The call sign "Khohol", chosen by the commander of the military unit, has a positive meaning and symbolizes authenticity and pride for Ukrainian roots.
  • The history of the word "khohol" testifies to its ancient purpose "from the son of heaven", in the context of Turkic languages, while "katsap" has a negative meaning associated with the crimes of Russians.

If there are negotiations with Putin, it will be worse in the occupied territories

Currently, the illegitimate president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has declared that he is ready for negotiations. They can take place only under the conditions that Ukraine will leave the territories captured by the occupying forces to Russia. Elshad "Khohol" Nurusov expressed his attitude to such "negotiations".

It is bad. Do you know why? I even think that if this is the case, it will be even worse in these territories. Otherwise, why kill then? How many boys gave their lives and health? And why? What is the meaning of this?

Platoon commander of the 23rd SSPB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to the platoon commander of the 23rd OBSP of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is not the first war of Azerbaijanis against Russia.

We had a war in 2020. But it was the first and second Karabakh war. Of course, we won, we returned. I wish all Ukrainians this feeling of victory.

Soldiers of the Russian army are ready to kill even children for money - the platoon commander with the call sign "Khohol"

In an interview with Online.UA, the commander of the 23rd OBSP platoon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Elshad "Khohol" Nurusov, said that the main motivation of the Russian invaders in the war against Ukraine is money, not the ambitions of dictator Vladimir Putin.

Information is spreading among the population of the Russian Federation that volunteers who fight on the side of Ukraine do so only for money.

No, I think a normal person will not go to war for money. A normal person, if he understands that he is a person, will not fight for money -stated Elshad "Khohol" Nurusov.

What is important to understand is that Russian propaganda tries in every way to rewrite history and facts, which is why in most Internet sources the word "khohol" is found in the meaning of "a derogatory name for a Ukrainian".

This information is not correct, because the etymology of this word is completely different:

  • Khokhol [Old Tyur. 𐰚𐰸𐰆𐰞, tour. kokol] means "son of heaven" in Turkic languages. "Kok" means "heaven", "ol" means "son" or "descendant".

  • Katsap [Arab. قَصَّاب‎ (ḳaṣṣāb)] means "butcher" in Arabic. As you know, this is what Russians are called in the countries of the post-Soviet Union for all the crimes they committed in different periods of their history.

"This is a lie." Journalists analyzed Trump's new statement about Ukraine

Trump is spreading disinformation again
Source:  Forbes

After talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump began claiming that the Russian army had surrounded thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region, but this is not true.

Points of attention

  • Trump's dissemination of misinformation sparks controversy and challenges the accuracy of his statements on international affairs.
  • The counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk aimed at thwarting Russian plans and regaining control of territories occupied by Russia.

Trump is spreading disinformation again

"It's just that right now, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are completely surrounded by Russian soldiers and in a very bad and vulnerable position," the US president wrote on March 14.

However, in reality, there was no encirclement — at the beginning of the week, about 10,000 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters were evacuated, leaving their positions in Kursk amid the approach of a large number of Russian occupiers.

This is a lie, — Kriegsforscher, a Ukrainian drone operator who participated in the battles near Kursk, responded to Trump's statement.

Tatarigami, founder of the analytical group Frontelligence Insight, noted that the information about the environment is not true.

As a reminder, on August 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a counteroffensive on Kurshchyna with the aim of capturing part of Russian land, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could later exchange for territories occupied by Russia.

In addition, in this way, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thwarted another offensive that the Russian army planned to carry out on Ukrainian territories.
