Special inserts for car tyres are being tested in Ukraine. They will help to keep driving even with punctured or damaged wheels.

What is special feature of "armored wheels"

According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, "RunFlat" is a special insert in car tyres that allows a car to drive even on punctured or damaged wheels.

This is especially important when evacuating the wounded, performing a combat mission or delivering supplies to the defence forces. Soldiers don't have to stop and be exposed to danger — they can continue to move to a safe place, Fedorov said.

According to the minister, the liners will not be inferior to the world's best and are made of materials that are not prone to premature destruction.

The developers are planning mass production and expansion of the model range with large armoured vehicles.

What is known about production of weapons in Ukraine

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine must become so strong and effective that Russia knows that every attack will be met with a response. To do this, it is necessary to increase the production of Ukrainian weapons.

Ukraine already produces long-range weapons. For example, experts have managed to develop a new version of the long-range Neptune missile. In particular, it has recently become known that Ukraine has started mass production of drones, which are a kind of analogue of Iranian Shahed drones.

According to the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Ukraine has significantly increased the production of ammunition. For example, mines — by 42 times, artillery shells — by almost 3 times.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban calls on citizens to vote at VOKS 2025 against Ukraine's accession to the European Union.

Points of attention

  • Viktor Orban is urging Hungarian citizens to vote in the VOKS 2025 referendum against Ukraine's EU accession, citing concerns over the country's economic impact and Hungarian interests.
  • The Hungarian Prime Minister is accused of manipulating public opinion regarding Ukraine and emphasizing the need to protect Hungary's achievements from potential threats posed by Ukraine joining the EU.
  • The VOKS 2025 referendum initiated by the Hungarian government seeks public opinion on Ukraine's potential accession to the EU, with voting conducted by mail and a single question posed to citizens.

Orban is manipulating Hungarian public opinion regarding Ukraine

The politician wrote on his Facebook page that Brussels allegedly has an order for the country to join the EU by 2030. According to him, in the next six months, the European Union will face "the most difficult and biggest battle" that will decide its future:

Maybe one day, somewhere in 20-30-40 years, everything might turn out in such a way that Ukraine will be able to fulfill the conditions necessary for accession that will not destroy the Hungarian economy. But this is not in the foreseeable future, in 15 years, that's for sure!

He urged Hungarians to vote to "preserve Hungary's achievements," saying that without public opposition, the government may not be able to protect the country's interests.

Ukraine's accession to the EU jeopardizes everything we have achieved so far. We will not let them step over the Hungarians!

VOKS 2025 is a nationwide consultative vote initiated by the Hungarian government to seek the opinion of citizens on the possible accession of Ukraine to the European Union. It began on April 15, 2025 and will last until the end of May.

Voting is conducted by mail. Hungarians are asked to answer one question: "Do you support Ukraine's accession to the European Union?"

We will remind, the opposition party "Tisa" organized its own survey, the results of which indicate support for Ukraine's accession to the EU among citizens - over 58% of participants support Ukraine's European integration.

"Habemus Papam!". When and how the new Pope will be elected

When and how will the new Pope be elected?
Source:  online.ua

Who will become the new Pope after the death of Francis is a question that currently worries millions of people in different parts of the world. However, no one knows the answer to it yet. It is known that the fateful choice will be made in the Vatican between May 6 and 12.

Points of attention

  • The right to vote will be held by Ukrainian Mykola Bychok, who is the bishop of the Melbourne Diocese of the UGCC in Australia.
  • If the Pope is not elected, a special mixture is added to the ballots so that black smoke rises from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel.

When and how will the new Pope be elected?

A conclave, a private gathering of cardinals to elect a new Pope, will soon take place in the Vatican. It will take place in the Sistine Chapel.

In total, 135 cardinals under the age of 80 will participate.

It is important to understand that among them will be Ukrainian Mykola Bychok, who is the bishop of the Melbourne Diocese of the UGCC in Australia.

After the cry of “Extra omnes!” (All out!) the doors of the chapel are closed, and only the cardinal electors remain inside. While the vote is taking place, any conversation with outsiders, use of telephones, etc. is prohibited.

On the cards, the cardinals must write in Latin: “I elect Supreme Pontiff” and indicate the name of the candidate.

It is also worth noting that after each round of voting, the ballots are burned. If the Pope is not elected, a special mixture is added to the ballots so that black smoke rises from the Sistine Chapel chimney.

It's no secret that white smoke means the Pope has been elected.

For this to happen, he needs to get two-thirds of the votes. After that, they will solemnly declare “Habemus Papam!” — “We have a Pope!”.
