Russian troops are shelling the border regions every day and intensifying the activities of subversive and intelligence groups (DRG) on the territory of Ukraine.

He emphasized that since the beginning of January, the Russian occupiers have carried out more than 1,800 shellings only in the northern border regions — Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv.
In addition, intensification of attempts to break through the Ukrainian state border in these regions has been recorded, but the Sumy region is particularly affected by this. The occupiers are also active in Kharkiv Oblast. But in the Chernihiv region, according to Demchenko, the activity of the DRG has decreased.
Enemy DRGs are a threat not only to the Defense Forces, but also to civilians, the spokesman added.
It was also reported on the air of the telethon that Ukrainian border guards are installing video cameras on the northern borders of Ukraine for the purpose of round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and conditions at the state border and adjacent territories. The DRG of the Russian occupiers killed two people
On the morning of January 27, a Russian intelligence and sabotage group shot a brother and sister from the Khotyn community in Sumy Oblast.
