UK Intelligence says Russia forms a new "volunteer" corps for the war against Ukraine

The Russian authorities are currently actively engaged in creating a new "volunteer" corps, which, in particular, recruits experienced fighters of the "Wagner Group". British intelligence officers report this.

Russia's National Guard once again to throw a vast number of Wagner mercenaries on the Ukrainian front

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain found out that dictator Putin's team was convinced that it was able to eliminate any potential threats from the "Wagner" group.

The scouts noted the fact that the newly appointed leader of the Wagner mercenaries, Anton Yelizarov, with the call sign "Lotos", made his first video message after the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin and former mercenary field commander Dmitry Utkin in August of last year.

Interestingly, Prigozhin's successor, during the video address, even described in detail the location of the new "Wagner Group" HQ in the "Cossack camps" in the Rostov region.

According to Yelizarov, the "Wagner Group" allegedly intends to place a new "Volunteer" corps of Russia's National Guard at the new base.

Foreign spies underline that this indirectly confirms the subordination of Wagner's group to Russia's National Guard.

Russia's National Guard to decide the fate of Wagner Group amid the Russo-Ukrainian war

According to the data of the Ministry of Defense of Britain, Russia's Guard began to actively form a new "volunteer" corps of experienced fighters of the "Wagner Group" not only to strengthen Russia's military efforts in Ukraine but also to expand Russian influence in Africa.

The Russian state highly likely authorised the construction of Wagner's new base and highly likely perceives that by subordinating Wagner to Rosgvardiya [Russia's National Guard - Ed.], it has removed any potential threat Wagner may pose to the Russian regime security, British intelligence officials say.

Notably, part of the "Wagner Group" still fights on the Ukrainian front.
